The Hilton Auburn Hills Suites is located on Featherstone Road in immediate vicinity to the Chrysler World Headquarters campus. The 224 room all-suite property was acquired on September 1, 2010 by a Minneapolis-based equity fund as part of a repositioning strategy.
The upper upscale hotel completed a thorough renovation of all guest rooms and public spaces in March of 2011. The completion of the meeting rooms is anticipated by November 2011.
The side-by-side suites feature a contemporary, but confortable residential design. With over 600 square feet, the spacious suites offer a separate living room with a freestanding working desk, a large sofa, a comfortable lounge chair and an ottoman. The sleek side-board serves as the base for the 42-inch flat panel TV and an under-counter refrigerator. The bedroom features the Serenity Bed™ by Hilton - a comfortable plush bedding package.
The Hilton also offers an Executive Floor, where suites include bathrobes, enhanced personal care amenities and access to the executive lounge. High speed wireless Internet is available to all guests.
The atrium is home to the “American Bar & Grill”, a proprietary restaurant concept presenting fresh and approachable culinary delights, ideally selected for today’s business traveler.
Wischermann Partners completed a thorough due diligence analysis within 60 days. The closing took place within weeks after all conditional clauses had been removed. Wischermann Partners project managed the multi-million dollar renovation while operating the hotel, minimizing impact to guest experience.
The Hilton Auburn Hills Suites has regained the leadership position within the local market place within eight months after its acquisition. Chrysler and many other local companies have designated the hotel as its preferred lodging choice for its visitors and many meetings.
