This upper upscale full service hotel is located two miles south of downtown Minneapolis and was part of a large scale urban redevelopment effort of a team consisting of the lead developer Ryan Companies, the city of Minneapolis and Allina Hospitals & Clinics.

Sheraton Minneapolis Midtown Hotel received nationwide recognition opening as the first suburban Sheraton Prototype Hotel in December 2005. The four-story hotel showcases Ralph Lauren-inspired interiors. Sheraton's brand defining words Warm - Comfort - Community were the guiding principles for creating this memorable guest experience.

The hotel offers 136 guest rooms and suites featuring the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed, LG Flatscreen TV's, large work desks and high-speed internet connections. The Club Level is located on the top floor offering guests a concierge lounge with appetizer reception in the evening and continental breakfast in the morning.

The 14-foot tall lobby opens up to the “Great Room”, a proprietary restaurant concept offering freshly prepared high-quality food items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel includes five meeting rooms with a total of 2,900 square feet of meeting space. A former train shed provides an underground connection to the hospital and office campus. It houses an indoor-pool with spa and the 1,800 square foot Sheraton Fitness programmed by Core Performance, overlooking the “Greenway”, which provides cyclists, inline skaters, runners and pedestrians a virtually traffic-free route across the city.

Sheraton Minneapolis Midtown Hotel is part of the $190 million Midtown Exchange redevelopment. It was developed and constructed within 12 months by Ryan Companies. Wischermann Partners assisted Ryan Companies with development consulting services, starting with the public RFP to the successful opening of the hotel. Shortly after opening, the hotel was recognized as the best new hotel in 2005 by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.

Sheraton Minneapolis Midtown Hotel opened December 14, 2005. Wischermann Partners has been managing the daily hotel operations of the hotel. GSI-scores have consistently ranked the hotel in the top-ten percentile among Sheraton Hotels in North America.
